Our Vision.

Making Disciples

At the heart of everything we do is our shared mission to plant the gospel of Jesus Christ, in a relevant way, in individual lives and families, making life-long disciples in the CF38 community.

“‘You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit— fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.’”

John 15:16

A disciple is more than just a church attender; disciples are prepared to submit their lives to the call and cause of Christ. Embedded in every sphere of society, they seek to live out their commitment in a real way within their communities.

Developing leaders

We are committed to mentoring, developing, and supporting leaders from within the CF38 community; seeking to develop and empower servant leaders who are committed to working on behalf of others and have a positive contribution in the church and wider community life.

We are thrilled when we see men and women serving God to their fullest potential, and individual growth is always in the stretch; it is rarely comfortable, but always retrospectively satisfying...

“Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.”

Hebrews 13:7

Growing the church

We are fully committed to the commission; our shared task of making the gospel of Jesus Christ known to all individual lives and families within our community.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)

Reaching the nation(s)

As members of the body of Christ we aim to be a national (and international) disciple-making movement with strategies for future church planting and sending out disciples across the nation and globally.

We will do this through a continued focus on surrendering to the Spirit, sending out and supporting disciples and missionaries.

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Mark 16:15 ESV

Building for a sustainable and prosperous future

In order to sustain our current operations and in seeking to build God’s kingdom in the CF38 Community we need a contingent plan to become more financially sustainable.

As a Bible-believing church, we recognise and receive giving as part of our worship to God.

“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Malachi 3:10-12 English Standard Version (ESV)
